Homework for the Week of January 14, 2013



AR DUE DATE CHANGE!!!
Due to the revised Marking Period end date (Hurricane Sandy Days Off), 10 AR Points are due by 3:00 pm on THURSDAY, JANUARY 17th!!!




Monday, January 14th:

Today we will begin Lesson 8-5: Exploring and Classifying Polygons.  Students will begin filling out the Notetaking Guide on page 122 of the Math workbook.  We will also view the tutorial video below and complete a practice worksheet on identifying polygons based on the number of sides:

Tuesday, January 15th:

Today we will continue Lesson 8-5.  We will be looking at the different types of quadrilaterals.  We will also view the tutorial video below and complete a practice worksheet on identifying quadrilaterals:

Wednesday, January 16h:

Today students will complete a practice worksheet identifying polygons based on the number of sides the figure has.

Thursday, January 17th:

Today we will finish the notes for Lesson 8-5. We will look at how to solve equations in order to find the angles of a quadrilateral. We will also view the tutorial video below and complete a practice worksheet:
