Welcome to 3rd grade!!! Miss Tenaglia and I are very excited to start this school year!
**Monday, August 25th: Today is the first day for students!! We will be reviewing our classroom procedures and expectations, as well the new NS District Behavior Plan. There will be no homework for today, however please make sure to return the forms that were in the Friday Folder.
*Don't forget-Wear gym clothes for gym tomorrow!*
**Tuesday, August 26th: We hope your child had a great first day!! Today we will continue reviewing the classroom procedures/expectations/and behavior plan. We will also begin Baseline tests to see where your child's strengths are in Reading and Math. There will be no homework for today, however please make sure to return the forms that were in the Friday Folder if you haven't already.
**Wednesday, August 27th: We will continue with the Baseline tests for Reading and Math (remember these are only to see where your child's strengths are...they are not used as part of a grade).

**Thursday, August 28th: Today we will begin our new Spelling list, Grammar lesson, Reading story, and Math Topic Opener. It is an exciting day, as we will really begin getting into a routine schedule!

*Don't forget-Students may wear Spartan gear for the Pep Rally tomorrow!*
**Friday, August 29th: Happy Friday!! We have a district wide pep rally today so bring on your Spartan Spirit!! We will continue with our Spelling, Grammar, Reading, and Math lessons. There will be no written homework, however students will be getting their Friday Folders. Please review materials and sign and return any forms. Thank you and I hope your child had a great first week of 3rd grade! :-)
